Six String Hooker and Bobby Bullshit know each other since they’ve been at Highschool. Some time ago they accidentally meet again and both became band members with the cover band: „The Long White Cloud Project“ Further on they decided to start a common project as „Hooker & Bullshit“ in order to release a couple of self written songs. The album „Handwritten“ was produced with big support from Heimi (additional guitars), ChrissChross (additional piano and keyboards) and Petra (additional vocals). Big hug to all of them! What is your earliest memory connected to music?

As we were born in the mid 60’s, we grew up with the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Dire Straits and Barclay James Harvest. 

How did your passion for creating music begin?

Remembering some evenings at a campfire, all the girls were looking at the guy with the guitar singing “knocking on heaven’s door”… this was the kick-off for learning how to play guitar 😉

What’s the story behind your current music project?

Six String Hooker and Booby Bullshit knew each other aready from highschool. By chance they met again by jamming with the Coverband “The Long White Cloud Project”. Just for fun they decided to take the viral step as a band “Hooker & Bullshit” and wirte, play and produce self written songs, putting them together in their first album “Handwritten”. Surprised by the unexpected high number of streams and listeners, meanwhile Hooker & Bullshit are working on their second album called “Cities”, it’ll be ready for complete release in the beginning of 2026.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Our music is a mixture of alternative and rock Indie combined with strong elements of singer- and sogwriters style.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Playing together with a band or just friends leads to new ideas, song structures as a creative process during which you’ll never know the outcome until it’s done. 

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

Diverse acoustic and electric guitars, bass and for producing, mastering and mixing we use our old tascam in addidtion with garageband and cubase elements.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Ray Wilson, Mighty Oaks

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Some of our songs are of course build on personal experience – on the other hand there are some songs written out of thoughts and ideas how it woud be, to live a dream.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

We’d love, if our listeners feel the ease of atmosphere in some of our songs as well as the emotionality or sadness breaking it’s way in some of the songs.

 What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

In every life situation either good or bad, music is a way to get through, giving hope, power or just distracting from harm.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

Playing an easy going live gig in a crowded cozy bar at Helsinki

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

It’ll be a great one, if we really were earning money with our music 😊 or at least build up a steady fan base throughout europe. 

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

We sincerely hope that our listeners will discover and feel the fun we really have, writing songs, recording and performing them.
