Professionally known as Davvi Szn , is an Afrobeat/Afro-fusion, Trap and Rap artist and storyteller from Nigeria, known for blending soulful melodies with captivating rhythms that resonate with emotions and intentions. with his passion for music, Davvi brings a fresh voice to the Afrobeat and alté scene — one built on truth, vulnerability, and melodic depth.

His Collaboration moment came with the fan-favorite "Matter" a collaboration with Mavvy Blu that earned thousands of streams organically through word-of-mouth and curated playlist placements. Following it, Davvi Szn released "Want You" a romantic, emotionally-charged track exploring desire, love, and the feeling of never getting enough of someone special.

Driven by raw emotion, cinematic vibes, and a signature spooky-but-soft aesthetic, Davvi Szn is crafting more than music — he’s building a movement. With every verse, he continues to shape a sound and story that listeners can live in.

What is your earliest memory connected to music?

HIGH SCHOOL

How did your passion for creating music begin?

My passion for creating music started back in high school, I was finding it a bit of an issue with socializing and a whole lot of other things, music was and still my form of escape.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

My  current project also my debut project is tittled WANT YOU, is a smooth emo afro-fusion track that captures the feeling of intense longing of someone you love deeply.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

In a one word I’ll describe it as RELATABLE, even if its not something you have experienced you’d still be able to connect and feel the message I’m trying to pass

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

I guess it’s the business side of music.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

My pen and book, I write myself and work with a music producer

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

My personal experiences are like the core of my music and it has a major influence in the kind of music I make.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I’d expect they feel everything humans are meant to feel even when they are not in that emotional zone.

 What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

That music is a universal language and you can shape and shift lives with music, so it’s best to pass positivity through the music I make.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

All big arenas and stadium in the world.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Ed-sheeran and NF, they have great musical work ethics that I admire a lot
