What is your earliest memory connected to music?
I remember being in the back seat of my parents car listening to oldies such as “Carpenters” and “Doris Day”. Looking out the window while the scenery changes from season to season the songs have gave me many visionary and atmospherical memories.
How did your passion for creating music begin?
It started from a slight notice into how I perceiving art in a different way, not just being entertained by it, but expressing my emotions in sounds.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
After helping other artists create music for years, I finally got myself to output my vision. I am currently creating songs for an album.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
Nostalgic, Atmospheric, J-pop.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
Words and Sounds around us have melody and rhythm in itself, it already is music.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
Protools, Guitar, Piano, NI Maschine
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
Yoshi Horikawa – Maki
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
I believe culture lives inside Language. Being born in Japan and lived in US and China being able to speak different languages has influenced my perception of culture. Having lived in different environments have gave me a diverse atmospheric experiences as well.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
Nostalgic, Immersive.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Music is universal and peaceful.
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
Any new venue in a new location.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
The Carpenters, Bee Gees, Micheal Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Adele.
These are all musicians that I was heavily influenced by.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?
