Stella Giorgi brings us “Intorno al mondo”

New release from Stella Giorgi, a young and talented singer from Rimini who, thanks to her maturity and prominent roles in the world of dance and musicals, has been making us appreciate her new single “Intorno al mondo” in recent weeks. Following the cover song “Hurt,” in which Stella has shown her true colors.

In this track, from the very first notes, the typical vocal style, sounds, and groove of pop R&B stand out. The arrangements of electric piano, synth, and atmospheric elements, combined with Stella’s touch, give the song a rhythmic and expressive flow that describes complicated “impractical” loves, hindered by distance, as stated in the first verse: “Ten minutes past 3, but you don’t see the message at your home, what time is it? I count the hours of travel.”

The undulating movement of her voice rests upon the rhymes, providing a smooth and pleasant touch to the piano arpeggios, reflecting the typical dreams of those who fall in love and live “on the other side of the planet,” which accompany us until the explosiveness of the chorus.

In the chorus, Stella enters with power and elegance, giving us thrilling “adolescent” emotions. She sings: “Now that you are my scent around the world, and the adrenaline of a trembling heart, the moment before going on stage.” Moments in which the love for the prince charming, a true soldier, is perceived.

The second verse reveals this difficult story to tell to a worried father, but at the same time, the dream of living a not-so-easy love prevails and is lightened by the presence of a cellphone screen that shortens the distance, despite the absence.

In the typically pop-style bridge, the young artist breaks the song with a sweet attack and phrases that fully summarize the song’s motto: “Love is not math,” and also “You are the one who makes the rules,” concluding with “the heart racing and the trembling voice,” completing the personal tour around the world.

In this way, she keeps the message alive and strong that love travels without limits, metaphorically comparing it to the successes that Stella has dreamed and achieved on stage. Label: Yourvoice records.
