‘Alec Shea’ is an Australian media composer based in Tokyo. This LoFi album is his first original album released as an independent project. Each track on the album reflects a particular time, place and/or experience from his time living in Tokyo for the past 4 years. The album combines elements of LoFi and post-rock and also experiments with some unusual musical techniques but he feels well suited to LoFi including 15/16 time and ‘drunk’ drumming micro rhythms.
