Written over Zoom during the height of Covid, this song effortlessly came together, inspired by the thought that John Cusack in “Say Anything” is really just the Proto-Soft-Boy. This energetic, drum n bass inspired track is a sickly-sweet love song about an 80s, John Hughes-type crush in a modern world. In the coming weeks, we will be harassing John Cusack on Twitter in the hopes that he will make a music video with us. The journey of this song in Formula Indie was started the 22nd March!
