With a successful DJ career spanning over 15 years and having played in some of the biggest
venues and festivals across the UK, Europe and UAE, Larizzle’s DJ-ing talents have allowed him
to supply numerous DJ mixes and guest shows for radio stations including BBC Radio 1Xtra, Kiss
Fresh, Capital Xtra and NTS Radio. Larizzle has also supported likes of Nas, Damian Marley,
Stormzy, Wizkid, French Montana, Skepta, Burna Boy and Mark Ronson to name but a few. He
is also a two-time winner of the Official Mixtape Awards in 2012 and 2013 in recognition of his
ever-popular DJ music mixes, which have amassed millions of streams globally.
The DJ turned music producer embarked on his music production journey in 2020 during the
pandemic. Larizzle would describe his sound as ‘UK Afro House’, fusing his love for the South
African sounds of Amapiano, Tribal House and UK Funky – a sound Larizzle specialised in while
forging his early reputation as a DJ. Larizzle releases his music through his newly formed record
label founded in 2020, called Larah Records, a label founded in memory of his late daughter.
