From Finnegan Bell- This song was written very fast. I got the idea for it one morning
and we knocked it out within a couple hours. This ballad really captured my mental state
at the time of writing the song. “Peace = madness, and joy = sadness” is about how
duality lives in everything and how when everyone leaves, you’re just stuck with
yourself. I tend to look outside myself for the perfect life to live, but at the end of the day,
I’m always still just me.
