“Gigantic Hand is urgent, insistent indie rock. They recall the jagged, yelping sound of Isaac Brock and
Modest Mouse, and in other, moodier moments, the baritone of Matt Berninger and The National. The
band sears and soars to a place all its own, to create one uniquely Gigantic Handprint.” -John Norris
Rory O’Connor of Tycho and Nitemoves plays drums and synthesizer, and songwriter Kris Kaczor plays
guitar. Anthony “Rocky” Gallo, a platinum award-winning and many Grammy-nominated engineer,
recorded and mastered the song and album.
The inspiration behind the song was to make a new, modern anthem like “Where Is My Mind” by the
Pixies. The lyrics ask people in general whether they are happy with who we have become as a human
race. The song is catchy, poppy, heavy where it’s appropriate, and familiar.
