Wonderful artist ‘The Loveseats’ from Fresno made an amazing hypnotic track ‘Burned Out’ ready to debut in Formula Indie the December 6th

Burned Out is a stand-alone single released by The Loveseats out of the Central San Joaquin Valley in California in September 2021. The track was produced with minimal editing, featuring live electronic playback, live effects mixing and vocal blending, and organic improvisational piano done in a single take. The goal was to create a more raw and live feeling sound to support the overall style of the track.

The result is a somewhat washed out tone, adding to the overall lyrical theme of navigating the stress of being overworked to get by during an economic downturn in a harsh summer marked by extreme drought, and the desire to imagine and pursue a better life elsewhere.

The repetitive nature of the bass gives this track an almost dub like feel with elements of jazz piano.
