I’m StarAV, producer, singer and songwriter based in Australia. Here is my take on Lava Lamp by Thundercat. The feeling I wanted to evoke was the frigidity of loss. This is done by utilizing washed out piano as a base, with layered ambient synth elements, noise & falsetto vocals to hold it all together.
