I’m a pandemic-induced artist with dozens of songs in the queue to release. This is one of my favorites, inspired by a girl I met and became moderately obsessed with despite (or because of) her chaotic energy. It wasn’t love “but stranger” she was “my daily dose of danger.” I began it on ukulele and my producer, Mike Rachlin, took it to a whole new level – amplifying the eerie / sexy / ambient mood I described to him. I can’t imagine this song coming out any other day but midnight on All Hallows Eve so that she can be played on repeat the day of Halloween.
