I wrote this song after the end of a very abusive relationship. It was a few weeks after and I said to myself, “you know I should be sad about this, but at least I no longer have a bad roommate that breaks my things anymore”, and the song idea was born. Many people can relate to feeling like their relationship was a sham, and I think people fresh out of a bad relationship will find this song motivating and funny. It’s upbeat, and is made to be that way….since it’s a great way to show that person from the past that you have actually moved on. I have a lot of sad music usually, so it was nice to make a song that was the exact opposite of what I’ve previously done
