Beautiful Magic Voice ‘Lorensa’ from Los Angeles made an incredible writing performance on her new single ‘Strangers Instead’ that will be on air in Formula Indie the November 8th!

Lorensa says

my name is Lorensa, I am a music artist based in Los Angeles.

I wrote this song after a break up. I came to the studio one day, (I used to live in NYC back when I wrote it 2 years ago) and I told my co-writers Libby Larkin and Joe Wood, that I have to understand this interesting cycle of a relationship. I mean, why do we all go through hell after a break up? why do we let ourselves get hurt? why I do not know my ex anymore? how the hell did we become strangers again?

I am still trying to understand it.
“We were strangers turned to lovers never friends…” It’s a cycle… we are gonna be strangers again anyway at some point.

That’s why I wrote the song. I wrote it from a place where I felt like I can’t put any weight on no relationship in my life any more, that I can’t relay on no one that I am here by myself and that I can’t trust no one.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of people can relate to this song. I hope you guys like it.
