Kotoji – Behind Closed Doors

A debut piece, ‘Scribbles of the First’ is a walk through Asian Indie Rock singer-songwriter ‘kotoji’s time capsule of her early twenties – a self-reflection of her youthful vulnerability and healing process, in hopes of bringing companionship to whoever listens to this body of work. With a total of 9 tracks, the self-released full-length album is a lyrically powerful blend of Japanese Rock-inspired writing seamlessly combining it with the different elements of Dream Pop and Alternative Rock – drawing likes of Car Seat Headrest, Mitski, NICO Touches The Walls and Spitz.
