What is your earliest memory connected to music?
I can remember my moms 45 collection growing up. My favorites were the Beach Boys, Beatles, and CCR
How did your passion for creating music begin?
It’s always been there. I’ve always looked for ways to create order out of the chaos in my head.
What’s the story behind your current music project?
It’s just an outlet for my creativity. I’ve found a few good players who share the same passion for making art that we can be proud of.
How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
It’s a mix of old and new. Taking influences from popular music of the late 20th century.
What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?
How to listen.
What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?
Mainly just an acoustic guitar and a small 4 track recorder.
Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?
A local band called the Parachute Brigade and another called What’s up Betsy.
How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?
I’m a recovering addict. I feel this has shaped my music with real life experience. All the pain and despair that comes with addiction, it’s in the music somewhere.
What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?
The ultimate goal of music from my perspective, is to just make the listener feel something.
What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?
Perseverance
What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?
The Caverns in Tennessee
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?
Jimmy Page. He was an idol of mine growing up.
