What is your earliest memory connected to music?

One of my earliest memories is singing in my room as a child. Music felt like a safe place where my shyness disappeared and emotions could speak for me.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

It began as a necessity. Writing songs became a way to process what I couldn’t express out loud. Over time, that emotional release turned into a deep commitment to creating.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

This project was born during a period of solitude and self-observation. It’s completely self-managed and reflects my current life as an independent artist, embracing uncertainty, growth, and authenticity.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

I’d describe it as soulful and introspective, blending R&B, soul, pop, and subtle rap elements. Emotional, intimate, and honest—music that invites reflection.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

Trusting my intuition. Letting go of perfection and allowing emotion to lead the process changed everything.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

My voice and my guitar are essential starting points for most of my songs. I usually begin by recording vocal improvisations over a track—either something I’ve created myself or an existing instrumental. From there, I develop ideas using guitar or keyboard, building demos in Ableton where I shape the harmonic and rhythmic foundation. For more intimate songs, I keep things minimal, focusing on a simple harmonic base and the voice.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

I’ve been really into La Brígida Orquesta lately, a Chilean experimental band, for their unique blend of jazz and hip-hop. I’m especially drawn to Matiah Chinaski’s lyrical depth.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

Completely. My songs are shaped by personal growth, emotional healing, and navigating life as an independent creative. For example, on January 16th I’ll be releasing a new song that speaks about how challenging it is to step into a new and uncertain path, like choosing the life of an artist, while being surrounded by a system that constantly tells you what works and what doesn’t. This release is especially meaningful to me because it reflects exactly what I’m living and feeling right now.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I hope listeners feel understood, less alone, and encouraged to embrace their own processes—even the uncomfortable ones.

 What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

The most important lesson has been the importance of communication. Music is a way of communicating something beyond words, and it has taught me how to express emotions through melodies. Just as I learned this, I believe it’s essential for others to learn it too—art is for everyone, not just for a few. We need ways to connect with our inner selves and open that door when words are not enough.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

I would love to perform at NPR’s Tiny Desk for its closeness and authenticity, and also at large international festivals where different cultures and sounds meet.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

Mac Miller will always be a reference for me because of his freshness, emotional depth, and unique flow. In the present, Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso inspire me for their boldness, their genre-blending approach, and the strong theatrical identity they bring to music.
