What is your earliest memory connected to music?

My earliest memory connected to music is from my childhood . On moonlit nights, my family would  gather outside and make music with buckets, empty bottles, claps, and our voices. Those moments  taught me that music isn’t just sound, it’s connection, joy, and shared experience. That’s where my  love for music began and where the heart of Festizie was formed.

How did your passion for creating music begin?

My passion for music began at home. Growing up, music was part of everyday life, family  gatherings, church, and moments of joy and reflection. Making music together taught me how  powerful it is in bringing people together and expressing faith and emotion. Over time, that love  grew into a calling, and eventually into Festizie.

What’s the story behind your current music project?

My current music project is rooted in purpose. Festizie was born from my desire to create music  that blends faith, culture, and sound in a way that feels authentic and uplifting. It’s about telling real  stories, spreading hope, and building a community through music that connects deeply and lives  beyond the moment.

How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

I’d describe my sound as soulful Christian Afrobeats with a touch of worship, a blend of African  rhythms, heartfelt melodies, and faith-driven messages. It’s uplifting and honest, designed to move  both your spirit and your body, creating moments of praise you can feel, not just hear.

What is one thing you’ve learned that completely changed the way you make music?

One thing that completely changed the way I make music is learning to lead with purpose, not  pressure. When I stopped chasing trends and started creating from faith, honesty, and conviction,  the music became more authentic and impactful. I now see music as ministry and connection, not  just sound.

What tools, instruments, or software are essential in your creative process?

My creative process is simple and intentional. I usually start with my voice and a melody, then  build around it using a DAW, mainly for arranging and refining ideas. A MIDI keyboard, quality  headphones, and a solid microphone are essential, but the most important tool is still the space to  pray, reflect, and listen, because inspiration leads everything else.

Which indie artist or song are you loving right now?

Right now, I’m really loving indie Christian Afrobeats sounds ; artists who are blending faith with  African rhythms in a fresh, intimate way. I’m especially drawn to songs that feel raw and worshipful,  where you can hear sincerity more than polish. Those kinds of records inspire me a lot creatively.

How have your personal experiences influenced your music and artistic vision?

My personal experiences are the foundation of my music. Growing up around family, faith, and  community shaped how I see the world, and those themes naturally show up in my sound. Life’s  joys, struggles, and moments with God have taught me to make music that’s honest, hopeful, and  meant to connect people, not just entertain them.

What emotions or messages do you hope listeners take from your work?

I hope listeners feel uplifted, inspired, and connected through my music. Above all, I want them  to experience hope, faith, and joy, and to be reminded that even in life’s challenges, there’s light,  purpose, and a reason to celebrate. My music is meant to move both the heart and the spirit.

What’s the most important lesson music has taught you so far?

The most important lesson music has taught me is that authenticity matters more than  perfection. When I create from a place of honesty, faith, and connection, the music resonates in  ways technical skill alone never could. It’s taught me to trust the message and let the music speak  from the heart.

What is a dream venue or festival you would love to perform at?

A dream venue for me would be a global stage like Coachella, Glastonbury, or a major  international gospel festival. I’d love to share my music with people from all walks of life, blending  Afrobeats and worship in a way that transcends borders and connects hearts worldwide.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would it be and why?

I would love to collaborate with Travis Greene. His music masterfully blends worship, gospel, and  contemporary sounds, creating songs that are both powerful and deeply emotional. Collaborating  with him would be an incredible opportunity to grow as an artist and to create music that inspires,  uplifts, and touches hearts worldwide.

Looking toward the future, what’s your dream for the next chapter of your musical journey?

Looking ahead, my dream is to grow Festizie into a global movement, not just an artist. I want to

create music that reaches across cultures, builds community, and points people toward hope and  faith. The next chapter is about deeper impact, better music, meaningful collaborations, live  experiences, and using my sound to inspire lives around the world.

What do you hope listeners will discover about you along the way?

I hope listeners discover that my music comes from a genuine place. Beyond the sound, I want  them to see my heart for faith, honesty, and connection, that I’m not just making songs, but sharing  experiences meant to encourage, uplift, and strengthen them through every season of life.
