H 22.00 Los Fantasmas de Fuerte by Jean-Louis Uzan https://www.losfantasmasdefuerte.com/
Two young orphans, Julia (26), determined and protective, and Tara (25), fragile but intuitive, survive through petty theft and squatting. One day, they hear about a one-million-dollar reward offered by an eccentric American billionaire, convinced that Jim Morrison, the icon of The Doors, didn’t die in Paris but is living in seclusion on the island, held captive by an ancient cult.
They accept the quest, thinking it’s an easy scam to exploit. But Fuerteventura hides an ancient, dark heart: the sacred mountain of Tindaya, a cursed place, once a refuge for witches, still harbors their ghosts. It is said they chained Jim Morrison’s soul deep within the rock, where he still sings to the dead…

H 22.00 Sköll Prod. LA MALA FAMA @ruuben.jimenezzz_ . Direction (Rubén Jiménez Pacheco): @ruuben.jimenezzz_.
A member of a black metal band wakes up from death with only one memory: he knows who killed him. But instead of rushing to seek revenge, he sets out to understand what kind of man ended his life in order to decide whether or not vengeance is deserved. Perhaps it was an honorable man forced to defend himself… or perhaps not.
As it turns out, the man is mind-numbingly dull. A routine based life, ideal on paper. A house, an office job, a dog as tedious as he is, and an aspiring girlfriend who admires his bitter talent for being the “ideal adult.”

H 22.00 Excerpts from MÚsica urgent by Eduard Sanjuán, Lluís Montserrat, Carles De La Encarnacion
“Urgent Music” is an intimate and moving portrait of a community musical space that, for ten years, has become a refuge and point of support for adults at risk of social exclusion.
Through the testimony of its participants, the documentary invites us to learn about a unique initiative where music is not only expression, but a profound tool for personal reconstruction, empowerment and belonging.
H 22.30 Esa Vida Brava by Tony Fedez
Jose, a professional painter, is a very energetic person. Together with his friend Sara, he forms a musical duo called “Las Bravas.” Although they can’t sing, they create inclusive songs with a fun tone in a dilapidated basement.
Jose, a Eurovision fan and follower of several television competitions related to the song, suggests Sara enter the Eurovision Song Contest.
Despite their limited musical knowledge, the desire to have a good time drives them to embark on this new adventure.
Aware of what facing this great challenge entails, they begin the journey with enthusiasm and humor, but also with the responsibility of performing well. This forces them to work with their voices in singing lessons; to challenge their own steps by preparing a decent choreography; and to face their worst enemy: the fear of ridicule.

how music becomes a powerful tool for self-expression, confidence-building, and social change.

At the end of the 19th century, the Italian Juan Bautista Busca arrived in Zumárraga (Basque Country), together with other Italians, Swiss, and Austrians, to work on the Madrid–Paris railway tunnels. They not only brought their expertise in building Alpine tunnels, but also small diatonic accordions with which they entertained themselves during their free time in the barracks where they lived.
Busca was one of them, but he did not leave when the works were completed. He married and settled in Zumárraga, where he started a family whose descendants still live in the town today.
He planted the seed of a foreign instrument—the accordion—which fused with the ancestral sound of the area’s traditional tambourines, giving rise to what we now know as Trikitixa, one of the most representative hallmarks of Basque musical culture.
A unique story that illustrates the enrichment that the arrival of people from different social, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds brings to any culture. Trikitixa is a Basque musical reference, recognized both within and beyond Euskal Herria. Interestingly, this small accordion came from abroad, and not so long ago.
The documentary features more than 20 testimonies, in both Basque and Spanish, from key figures in Basque culture such as Bernardo Atxaga, Toti Martínez de Lezea, Kepa Junkera, Fermín Muguruza, Garikoitz Mendizábal, and, of course, members of the still-active Trikitixa of Zumárraga.

H 22.15 Kraus, El último romántico by Laura Bueno Cabrera & Germán Roda Amador
The greatest figure of Spanish poetry of the last half of the 20th century, one of the tenors with the longest career on stage. Alfredo Kraus worked so hard on his operas that he blended into each of his characters, his favorites: the romantic heroes.
So much so that his own love story ended up making him the protagonist of one of those dramatic operas that he performed so much during his career.
This documentary captures the essence of the late romantic, showing the man behind the myth, revealing his joys, sacrifices and the tragedy that marked his artistic epilogue and the end of his life.
