In 2020, four high schoolers from north county SD came together to form an all girl garage band. Initially covering various songs by idolized/influential rock & punk artists, Doll Riot aspired to write their own music. In the midst of a pandemic unable to book shows, the teens found themselves in a rage of frustration and discouragement. It was shortly after the band’s drummer moved away for college when vocalist Elena Olszak, guitarist Ella Sauer and bassist London Kraus united with the younger but fierce drummer, Lillee Gillum. More determined than ever, the group started playing shows regularly throughout SD county and it wasn’t long before the four girl bosses began the making of their wildly untamed original music. Inspired by real life teenage dilemma (breakups, psycho ex-girlfriends, stereotypical tendencies) and admired artists (Destroy Boys, No Doubt, L7, Hole), Doll Riot music will most definitely awaken your inner punk rock slay mode!
