The Book of Isaiah is the fourth project from Bloomington based-artist ‘Rex Avant’, and his first EP made widely available on all DSPs. Raw, reminiscent, manic, and dreamy, the project explores Rex’s evolving relationship with his hometown, Indianapolis, and old friends after departing for some time, punctually delivered over four songs. The project features (vocalist) Dexter Clardy and (multi-instrumentalist/producer) Alex Dura (Spliffy) of the Indianapolis-based band, Huckleberry Funk. It also includes features from vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Elena Escudero, who is currently based in Richmond, Virginia and Chicago-based artist NOA (Anne Anderson). Production is handled by brz (Elijah Pouges) and Madhouse Beats (Logan Reeves). The project will be followed up with a short film directed by Los Angeles based filmmaker Keenan Rhodes.
