Canadian pianist, keyboardist, and music producer ‘Desarae Dee’ has released her 7th and final single of 2021, “Day 2 Day” featuring Toronto-based singer-songwriter Markus Aurelyus. Discover that the 15th February in Formula Indie
Celebrating 7 years as an artist, Dee soared to success throughout 2021, releasing 6
singles since February with a combined total of 120,000+ streams on Spotify and
Apple Music. Her music has been featured in music blogs and played on radio
stations both nationally and internationally, most recently having one of her singles
played on one of Canada’s most prestigious radio stations, CBC Radio under the
program, “The Block by CBC.” As the year comes to a close, she is thrilled to be
releasing her 7th and final single to end her cycle of 7.
“Day 2 Day” serves as a perfect end of the year song: a musical canvas that is
relatable to the everyday person, exploring the various ups and downs of making it
through life, pushing towards success, and taking things as they come.
“Through this song, I want to encourage people to take life one step and one day at a
time. We don’t always have all the answers, but all we can do is trust the timing of
our lives and trust the path God has us on,” says Dee.
