Initially starting as The Ultra, they released the four track EP ‘When The World Turns Out Its Lights’ –  which was released by indie London record label Platform Records, and the single ‘Universe in Two’ received numerous rave reviews worldwide, radio play and as the trailer for the computer game ‘Die Young’. The following year the band released a second and more experimental EP which also received warm reviews.

2020 saw a rebrand and rehearsals with a drummer for live performances and then the global pandemic set upon the world. Continuing the need to be creative, the end of 2020 saw the release of ‘Collide’ and accompanying video with the very relevant lyrical theme of mental health and addiction. Collide and it’s development has been discussed on BBC Essex and other numerous radio stations focusing on mental health and addiction In early 2021, they signed to US publishing label SteadyGrind Music – affiliated with Sony Music – and in September performed for ‘World Peace Day 2021’ with other artists in a virtual concert.

Seeking to create music that is interesting, challenging and evoking many different musical textures, themes and feelings, they work individually on song ideas and record in Paul’s London home studio before additional mixing and editing at Fiction Studios in London. Currently, they are finishing the mixing of songs for their forthcoming EP and will be preparing for live performances in 2021.
