“I knew it would be a country inspired song, with some beautiful slide guitar riffs, but I didn’t realize that my producer Lang Freeman of the band Sounds Under Radio would add moody synths and chorus guitars that would feel right at home in record by The Cure! I loved it and said ‘lets lean into this!!’” The result is a catchy retro-pop song filled with memorable melodies, matched with longing lyrics.
