On waking, Simon realised that he needed to capture this song and write lyrics to it immediately. Channelling his recent experiences, Simon wrote a song that foresees hope in a time of near-despair with lyrics that focus on the theme of following one’s passion against seemingly insurmountable odds. Musically, this song has a chamber- pop style reminiscent of mid-60’s era Beach Boys while also reflecting the folk-pop influence of 1960’s & ’70’s singer-songwriters such as Leonard Cohen. “Our Crazy Dream” will be released digitally on Friday 3rd December 2021.
