BAYWUD and DVNIEL have joined forces to collaborate and release their latest single and duet “Last Call”, setted to debut in Formula Indie the December 15th Dvniel and Baywud’s heart-wrenching vocal performances and sky high ranges are precisely and masterfully complimented by Jed Peek’s epic production

DVNIEL – “ We dug deep on this one and wanted to write a song from both of our personal experiences with addiction, loss, hopelessness and struggle while finding a commonality in our stories. At the core of these experiences there was still a sense of light and hope and a search for something tangible, while being able to come to terms with our own issues of self-doubt and control. We wanted to treat each of the verses like a personal diary entry and let the chorus serve as the connected thread between both Baywud’s journey and my own.”

BAYWUD – “This song has so many different meanings. It’s a song about loss and brokenness, as well as fear of the unforeseeable and the unknown. Both Dvniel and I have similar stories of drug addiction, loss, and pain, which we express in each verse. I think ultimately, we wrote a song about forgiveness and hope. Forgiveness to yourself and from all of those you’ve hurt in your life because of your mistakes. It’s also that ‘Last Call’ to YOUR heaven, whatever that is to you; that place of pure bliss that we all long for, that place where everything is as close to perfect as it could possibly get.“

Dvniel and Baywud’s heart-wrenching vocal performances and sky high ranges are precisely and masterfully complimented by Jed Peek’s epic production. BAYWUD begins the song in verse one with his familiar raspy and captivating vocal tone in a very personal and honest one on one conversation with his listener. It’s when we explode into the chorus that the song takes on a new feel with a full choir, larger than life production cloaked lyrical poetic vulnerability. Dvniel enters in verse two commanding the stanzas with a passionate clean synth-like vocal switching the perspectives which immediately feels new, but yet still familiar. Their vocals work together effortlessly and are a perfect match while at the song’s core the listener can’t help but feel their message of hope, pain and passion in their words and performances.
