‘Jozie_Ramone’ from Los Angeles made a wonderful super energetic song ‘Shinji’ discover his unique blend the December 2nd in Formula Indie!
Jozie says
”shinji” loosely based on the emotional similarities on the character from the anime neon genesis. For those that don’t get what I mean its a song about my emotions. How at a point in my life I didn’t feel like waking up was worth it anymore and to make the day bearable id have to load up on anti depressants so I could go to work and have a social life. also in that time I felt the need to make a statement by killing myself hoping that maybe the ones around me would care. The line that alludes to that goes “Slit my wrists six ways to the Sabbath just to make everybody wear black and mourn so I feel important for one day while I lay dormant”. I was in a really dark place and through constant work I’m glad I pulled myself out. I hope that others would see the message of perseverance in this and give themselves the chance to live a better life
