Stunning L.A. band ‘Antisolar’ is ready to debut in the Formula Indie the November 9th with a wonderful played song called ‘Do We Tremble At Night?’

Antisolar is a new band consisting of Paris-based Olivier Raynal and L.A.-based Andrew Doolittle. Their second single, “Do We Tremble At Night?” was born of difficult questions that Olivier found himself wrestling with while watching news of a mass shooting: are we frightened of what we’ll be left with if we allow the world around us to be destroyed? Can we move beyond our feelings of anger, grief and helplessness in order to bring about change? The subject matter eventually expanded beyond mass shootings to become a broader exploration of our potential to inflict harm on each other, the Earth, and ultimately ourselves. Olivier’s own exploration of these questions led him to Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, home of the last two living Northern White Rhinos. He is currently partnering with Ol Pejeta in a number of endeavors to further their aim of preserving threatened wildlife. Antisolar’s hope is that this song will lead listeners to seriously consider how they might be able to better our world despite the enormity of the challenges we face.
