Candy Lied” is an alternate story of a character from Lou Reed’s Walk on the Wild Side. What if she didn’t have the courage to follow through? Where did her life lead her to? A daily battle with self-worth, the fear of the unknown, and thoughts of ending it all. Is there enough hope and strength to learn from mistakes and use it as fuel to keep on keepin’ on?
All of this wrapped around a chilled out indie-pop groove with hooks galore to help us deal with our own daily battles.
