“Multi-instrumentalist Prinz Leo redefines the virtues of men in Debut EP”

Prinz Leo’s EP Lift Your Head Up Till Your Neck Is Sore, fuses indie rock and creative instrumentation, and advocates for redefining the virtues of men and the empowerment that is found in being vulnerable. The EP was co-mixed by Nick Hunt (Depeche Mode).

London-based, Austrian multi-instrumentalist Prinz Leo fuses indie rock, emotive language
and expressive guitar solos in debut EP. His songwriting embraces vulnerability and
advocates for redefining the virtues of men: it’s brave to be vulnerable. It’s cool to express
how we feel and there’s power in showing emotions.
The conceptual EP, Lift Your Head Up Till Your Neck Is Sore, takes the listener on a journey
of chasing dreams and the sacrifices that come with it. Prinz Leo recorded real life sounds
such as his own heartbeat and tapping on tables to create this intimate sounding EP. His
songs fit nicely into the playlists of fans of Elliott Smith and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
“I wrote these songs while isolating in a small room in London at a time where I strongly felt
how overwhelming and lonely it can be to follow my dreams. Sometimes, especially when I
miss my family and friends in Austria, I wonder if it’s worth the price. I dedicate this EP to
anyone who’s working towards something they believe in. It may be hard at times to lift your
head up when your neck is sore; it’s ok to take a break. After that, keep going because at
the end of the day we know it’s worth the pain.”
The captivating single, Places I’ll Never See, will be out October 29th, followed by the EP’s
release November 5th.
Leo’s commitment to music and entrepreneurial spirit led him to work with David Hauser for
six years and was mentored by Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy). Over the past months, Prinz
Leo has been building an engaging online-community of over 10.000 followers across
different platforms, who are excited to hear more of his original music and follow him on this
journey of redefining the virtues of men.
