Discover the ‘NTGB’. They are based in Sunderland, UK, and the whole project started with guitarist Nick Thompson writing a few songs over lockdown 1. Then singer Gaz Brown got involved to do vocals, and NTGB was born.After a lot of file sharing they decided our music deserved better than our bedrooms and finished the first 2 tracks ‘INERTIA’ and DIRTY DREAMS off in 1st Avenue Studio in Newcastle on 19th December.Along the way they accumulated the talents and experience of friends Andy Trainor (keys), Steve Graham (rythmn guitar), and Mark Cliff (drums). They had a few live rehearsals and established they had something worth sharing with the world.They have a full album to unleash, once completed, hopefully by mid 2022. It’s a song about sweet love turning sour; the lyrics bring melancholia and a hint of bitterness to a melody written in the tradition of the Kinks and the Beatles. ‘The Family Grave’ released their single ‘Mr Train Driver’ on a very limited 7″ vinyl single with the Super8 Singles Club. Now they are releasing a new video for the song, produced by James Kendall in a 60s Super8 style, featuring Hash (Hannah) Wilde.
