One of 17 songs on ‘Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends’ double album, ‘CITIES ABOVE’ was seriously considered as a single (in competition with the previously released SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT YOU WERE DEAD). In fact, co-producer David Myhr, favored it! It’s a song about sweet love turning sour; the lyrics bring melancholia and a hint of bitterness to a melody written in the tradition of the Kinks and the Beatles.
