‘Soda Cracker Jesus’ from Tacoma is back with an impressive track called ‘Kaleidoscope’ and is ready to play in the Formula Indie the 23rd November!
SCJ is my bedroom rock project. Mainly me with a few friends now and then. I may take it on the road once my 13 year old daughter graduates. But for now, it’s this. Music, videos and storys about life and recovery. My new song is catchy, honest, and heartfelt. I was told its Lennon-meets-Bowie-meets-Peter Gabriel in a dark alley.lol… Not sure about that, but it feels good. My dad and I had a complicated relationship and before he passed we were good. This song is about the emotions and feelings that come with that. I think anyone at any age can relate to dealing with loss. I don’t usually bare my soul but this is as close as it comes. I’ve been getting some decent streams, sales, and reviews and the first 3 songs for SCJ have been played on over 100 indie radio stations each and charted on the prestigious Indie Alliance Charts including numerous #1’s. SCJ was also featured on blogs and websites around the world including The New Music Food Truck, Eclectic Music Lover, JPGChief, Ballroom Blitz’s Man At The Back. The My Anthem video was added to the International Singer-Songwriters Association’s Television Network Channel on ROKU. I tell some good stories and am a great interview. I’m always available.
