To honor her family name, she has changed her artist name to Ferguson’s Daughter. This EP is many things: a marriage announcement, a farewell to the first 26 years of the artist’s life, and a welcome to this new chapter of her life. “Blissed Out Blues” captures the bittersweet experience of becoming an adult, sharing a life, loving that life and trying to be fully present in all of its beauty – even with the full awareness that it is all temporary.
