After a break-up
with his partner, Lind was in a new city on his own. Writing about the failed relationship helped
him feel a connection to the past that he was leaving behind. Comfort Zone isn’t just about
being attached to an older version of yourself, tracks like (Opened Up My) Feelings and
N.E.E.D.Y. touch on what it’s like to ‘try’ after living in your mistakes for so long.
Lind worked exclusively with LA based producer, Taylor Sparks (Randy Jackson, Kelsea
Ballerini), where they pulled influence from artists like Carly Rae Jespen and Hilary Duff.
Comfort Zone was recorded at Revolver Recordings in Thousand Oaks, CA.
