The hook “I’m not taking it anymore, …I’m not listening anymore,…” is meant to be an anthemic cry for individualism in a time where so many are caged in their thinking due to outside forces. This song is also more similar to our songs released on our first EP “Friction”, influenced by late 90’s/early 2000’s alternative rock rather than modern progressive metal. The song is meant to have a gradual build with the outro guitar solo being the climactic event that leaves the listener feeling like they’re out of breath when it ends, aiming to have them go back for a second time.
