North Cornwall soundscapes in the new etheral fantastic song ‘Mode’ by British synthwave exponent ‘Downhill’ ready to debut in the Formula Indie the November 21st
Mode came about whilst I was out exploring the local North Cornwall landscape, thinking of the myths and legends that the area is steeped in. I take photos and notes when I’m off exploring, allowing thoughts to drift into my mind.
When I returned to my studio, I looked over my notes and photos and began to play, recording any parts that I like the sound of, then filling out the rest of the track from there.
This is the penultimate track in my “12 for 21” project, releasing a new track each month
